During your time at Wyndham Duchally why not make your experience here with us extra special by participating in our gin tasting or even making your own gin at our Gatehouse distillery. It works great for team building as you can either work together to decide on the botanicals for your gin or, as we have 2 stills, you can go head-to-head to see who creates the best tasting gin.
Gin Tasting Experience
Thursdays at 6pm
£25 per person
Our gin tastings will take place in our very own distillery, or our cosy bar depending on the weather, and each session will commence with a brief introduction how Gin Gatehouse began and the art of distillation. We then get the taste buds flowing with a carefully selected tasting sequence, including a taste of our own Gatehouse Gin. We will talk the guests through the tasting sequence and teach them about the botanicals in each gin. This Gin tasting includes a Gatehouse Gin & Tonic as a well as 4 measures of carefully selected gins. The experience lasts approximately 1 hour and is available for a maximum of 12 people.
Cocktail Masterclass
Saturdays at 6pm
£35 per person
Learn to blend your own craft gin cocktails with this interactive masterclass in the Gatehouse distillery. Using a range of our Gatehouse Gins, small groups will create three different drinks during this hour-long gin making experience. Experiment with a range of flavours and aromatics, fine-tuning your mixology skills in the quest to create the perfect cocktail. This immersive evening, full of fun and learning, takes a maximum of 12 participants and costs £35 per person.
